Job Options

Acrobat Distiller has many job option settings. Please refer to the following to make sure your settings are configured correctly to produce useable PDF files.

Place this attachment on your desk top - please do not attempt to open this attachment.

To load this attachment into Acrobat 8 : open Acrobat Distiller then go to Settings and down to Add Adobe PDF settings. It will ask to have you find the Job Option setting file. Once you find the settings within this menu, select the attachment and open. This should change your Default Settings on your Distiller. If not, change the Default Settings by pulling down the Menu and select the MG settings.


MAC InDesign CS3 Job options   click to download

To place this attachment into InDesign
Open your InDesign application then go to File>Adobe PDF Presets> Define> Load (select this attachment).

When creating a PDF please go to File > Adobe PDF Presets> Select "MG IND CS3.joboptions". If your file has bleeds you will need to type this in the "Marks and Bleeds" tab, under the "Bleed and Slug" area. Please type in .125 for all dimensions in the bleed and slug area.

If you would like to send a test PDF, we would be happy to do a spot check for any obvious issues before production.
